I absolutely agree with all that this woman is saying. I often found at school that people thought I was odd for being quiet and that because I wasn’t contributing in class that meant something bad. But what teachers don’t know is that just because someone doesn’t put up their hand doesn’t mean that the student doesn’t understand. I do understand I just don’t have anything to say about it. In fact a lot of my school reports asked me to contribute more in classes. But that just isn’t who I am.
